Policy under police

POLICY UNDER POLICE
It’s 6 O’clock Pm East Africa Time
Some Kenyans returned home
And the camp turns into a prison
Everyone heading to end up their missions
On the other hand
We see some footballers
In different fields
Playing and sadly, police fight
Against passengers
Who do nothing
But pushing
To get in the police car
Some speak loudly
Thief, thief, I can hear voices.
Jump the queue of the wall
Incidents come up
People injured
Nobody cares,
People lose money in this hardest case
Nobody cares,
People lost their lives
But nobody cares.
Can someone please tell me the role
The real role of the police?
Should they be a guardian?
Or should they be median ?
I don’t have an answer
Because I don’t actually understand
For what will I stand for?
If my people are jailed?
For no reason.
If my people are mistreated?
For no reason.
For what will I speak up?
If humanitarian keep quiet?
For matters of their donors.
For what will I show my face?
If international agencies keep secret?
Nobody cares.
People live under pressure
In a place we assume to be safe
But still we feel to be in the same place like home.
In a place we assume to be protected
We feel marginalized
And unconsidered
Living with unconscious police
Who destroy humanity
Who deny what’s right
Who add cases on you without faults
Living in a county
Where we tried to be family
To local community
But still, we are given names
That discriminate
Name that don’t give hope
We endure
But do cannot not remain calm.
A refugee woman

A REFUGEE WOMAN
You want to know who she is?
She is a refugee woman
From more than fifteen countries
Living in Turkana West, Kenya
In a semi-arid place where she has to look for firewood to get well cooked food
She has to pass through rivers (lagga) and sometimes kidnapped, raped and harassed in her way.
She had to make a line to get water and sometimes she came without water.
She's living in pain and sorrows
She traverses long-term depression and
Her life has never been easy in the camp
She has to make a line to get medicines
She has to make a line to get food at the ration
She has to be beaten while it's her right to be served
She received four packets of cereal every two months while she's feeding her baby.
She's suffering,
She lives with neither hope nor a future.
Once she's assisted with money
She has to asked for percentages
She was named
A refugee woman.
Person dependable but treated like thieves
Many people have different opinions on her
But let me tell you the truth
A refugee woman
She's like anyone else in other world
A woman who can do better than others
Other women in the cornerstone of this painful universe
A woman who has never forgotten her ambition
Who has never left her mission
Which is to change the world.
A woman who has never disrespected someone's life
No matter what.
Her journey began
In differential situations
War, conflicts, politics
Which made her immigrates
Where does she belong ?
At the right place like anyone else.
She deserves dignity.
Peace and love.
Let all try to support a refugee woman.
